Xihu Academy

Xihu academy, one of the fine cultural tourism projects under the protection and construction of Lili ancient town, is built to inherit the style and context of Xihu academy, Lili ancient academy.
Built in the early Qing dynasty, the Xihu academy (originally called Lichuan college, later renamed Xihu academy) is the highest institution of education in Lili. The existence of the academy has brought up many talents and improved Lili's cultural taste. It was founded by Chen Shixia in 1715, the 54th year of Kangxi's reign. It was located in the east of Miaoqiao lane, a little south of the west side of Zhou Gong Fu Ancestral Hall.
