Oil Dumpling is a famous snack in Wujiang, Jiangsu province. It is golden and looks like a paper lantern with three sections of waist. Oil Dumpling usually has two kinds of fillings, bean paste and meat. When Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze river, he saw what he had eaten, round, yellow and flat, just like pudun in front of the bodhisattva incense table in the hall. He said with a smile, "this thing really looks like pudun ,name it Oil Dumpling.
