Wei Yuxian (1216 ~ 1245), the Southern Song Dynasty specially enrolled champion. He is the great-great-grandson of Weizhi, the candidate in the highest imperial examination in the sixth year of Yuanyou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1091). Wei Ruxian is talented and clever. He worked hard in learning and he was enrolled in Sonling School. He ranked first in each exam and became the candidate in the highest imperial examination in 21 years old. In the spring of the 4th year of Chunyou (1244), he became the candidate in the highest imperial examination again and became the specially enrolled number scholar. In the same year, Li Chunte, the mayor of Wujiang, built the Zhuangyuan Memorial gateway to show their commendation.
