Lingxin
Lingxin (about 1410-1471), whose style name is Shangyi, was born in Lili Town. He followed his father Ling Xian to Daxing in his youth, and then went to Shuntianfu to study. He was eager to learn and was talented. He liked to browse the books of Geography, cared about national events, and was good at talking. After the examination, he was selected as a tribute student. He was famous for writing regular script so that he was appointed as Zhongshu, and soon became a minster of treasure office. He was in charge of keeping the emperor’s jade stamp, the sign cards and all kinds of stamps. During his working, he continued to read a lot of books and was very familiar with the politics, economy and customs of other small countries.
