Xu Dayuan (1767 - 1846), whose style name is Minjiang or Wuji, pseudonym is Shanmin, or little Emeishan Ren. In the years of Jiaqing (1799) Xu Dayuan was selected to be the vice minster of Hanlinyuan. Xu Dayuan was open-minded and diligent, and is not interested at promotion, so he returned to Lili after just one year. He is good at painting, and his painting of the ink plum is simple but special, and his painting of landscape also has a unique style.
