The female painter of the Qing Dynasty, Qian and Ling (1763—1827), whose style name is Jiuying. His great-grandmother Chen Shu (style name is Nanlou) is the eldest daughter of Chen Yaoxun, the scholar of Taixue. Her works have been appreciated by Emperor Qianlong, and any works have poems written by Emperor Qianlong. Emperor Qianlong made comment on her work that there is no feeling of being written from a female. Qian Yuling have been influenced by the great-grandmother since childhood, and her written style is similar to her great-grandmother’s.
