Liu Wugou(1914-1963), the second daughter of Liu Yazi, studied in the middle school of Shanghai Datong University in 1926. The next year, his father was wanted by Chiang Kai-shek so she went to Japan with his father. She returned to Shanghai in 1928 to continue studying and got the first place in the junior high school graduation results. After the September 18th Incident, she actively participated in the anti-Japanese movement, organized parades, speeches, made slogans and posters. In September 1932, she was enrolled to the Department of Sociology of Tsinghua University. In 1934, he was arrested for being the member of Communist Party. After being rescued, she returned to Shanghai.
