Chenjiawantang Lane is located in Zuoziwei, which is Pear
Flower Street nowadays. This lane records the rise and fall of the Eighth big
families in Lili. In the early Qing Dynasty, Chen’s family is very famous. Chen
Yongnian donated money to build the Daonan Bridge, and Chen Heming was also
known as the "County Horse." Later generations also had the origin of
the imperial examinations, and the hometown praised Chen’s family as Five
talented Sons.
