During the Daoguang years in Qing Dynasty, there were two
brothers in Yinjia, Changtian Village in Lili. The elder brother is Yin
Shoupeng (about 1810-1872), the younger brother is Yin Shouyi (about
1812-1872), and they was both eager to learn. They lived in their uncle’s house
in Yin’s Family in the town. They often read the text until the night. After
several years, the brothers became Jinshi and Juren. The uncles often recalled
the time when two brothers read together, so they renamed the main hall as Wenshi
Hall and renamed Yinjia Lane to Wenshi Hall Lane.
