Zhoucifu Lane is named after Zhou Yuanli. He (1705-1782) is
the Governor and the Ministry of Industry for 36 years. He worked hard and is
very honest so he is trusted by emperor Qianlong. Qianlong write the word Fu to
him for 13 years. in the 45th year of Qianlong, Zhou family named the newly
rebuilt house as the Cifu Hall. Therefore, this lane was also called Zhoucifu
Lane.
