Daonan Bridge
In the fifty-first year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Chen
Yongnian built this bridge, which is commonly known as the Release Bridge. The
bridge is grand because of its height and its strangeness. The carving on the
bridge arch is very beautiful. On the square stone carving in the center of the
bridge, there is a traditional double Xi (happy). The carvings are only one
meter square, and the bridge is more than ten meters high. The bridge arch
close to water has a stone which was written Release Bridge.It is rarely seen
that the water and stone are at the same level.
