Qiuxi Bridge
Qiuxi Bridge, also known as Jigu Bridge, is
located next to the Qiuxi Tao Temple in the northwest of the Old Street. It
crosses the north exit of the city river, and it is an east-west and the
three-hole beam-type stone bridge. The bridge surface is covered with water. It
consists of twenty small slabs, just like steps, horizontally embedded between
the left and right stone troughs. The bridge is like a ladder. Stepping on the
bridge surface, the stone blocks are ringing. The stone is shaking but the
person is not shaking, which is especially magical.
