Mao Xiaocen (1900-1976) styled himself Zhaorong and is a native in in Lili Town, Wujiang County, Jiangsu Province. Many people know that there is friendship between generations between him and Liu Yazi. He strived to rescue Deng Yanda, the arrested main founder of the Third Party. He is a pioneer in promoting the development of the Third Party in Suzhou, but his early experience is little known. The author recently glanced through and checked materials such as the New Lili Newspaper and found that before Mao Xiaocen was ordered to arrested by Sun Chuanfang and evaded to Shanghai in the summer of 1926, he was a well-known figure in Lili Town, Wujiang County.
