Former Residence of Yin Mingzhu
Yin Mingzhu from Lili can be called one of the first-generation Chinese film stars. She firstly appeared in Solemn Pledge of 1921. She starred in nearly 30 films. At that time, her acting skills stirred up the movie circle much earlier than Hu Die and Ruan Lingyu. Yan Ruisheng, Solemn Pledge and Skeleton Women filmed in the early 1920s are the earliest full-length features in China. At the same time, they are also regarded as the embryonic forms of Chinese genre films—Yan Ruisheng is the first social film; Solemn Pledge is the beginning of love films; and Skeleton Women is the originator of detective films.
