After more than 130 years, Wenxin Hall still operates at its original site (No.13 Central Street, Lili Town, at present). Its facade covers an area of 86 square meters. There are six cabinets including “Baiyan Cabinet” and “Wansan Cabinet”. Each of them has 45 drawers, totaling 270 drawers. There are 38 tin-capped magnetic bottles on the top of the cabinets. Some of them are of the period of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong’s reign and have longer histories than Wenxin Hall. Ordinary Chinese medicinal crops are stored in drawers and valuable Chinese medicinal crops are stored in magnetic bottles.
