It was originally the old house of Zhou Wangtu (who styled himself Wenhe, is a senior licentiate good at poetic prose. He wrote Xiexin Collection and Diyanzhaishicao), younger brother of Zhou Yuanli, Minister of Works during the period of Emperor Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty. There were 7 rows of rooms. However, only 5 rows of rooms exist.
