Chen Yingqian (1912-2006) is a famous medical professor and graduated from Shanghai Southeast Medical College in his early years with a bachelor’s degree, and later served at Nanjing Central Hospital. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japan, Comrade Li Kenong introduced him to Yan’an China Medical University where he successively served as Instructor, Director of Education, director of affiliated hospital and Vice-President of University.
